After the estate sale, we just put everything out for free in order to get started on construction

Some people offered to buy Squatch too, but he was not for sale 🙂

The top level between the first and second stories was never quite finished. Covered with plastic in a little insulation, pretty bad.

Keeping it simple and cost-effective, David used just logs with a little bit of support for the base floor. Unfortunately it was extremely unlevel and mostly rotten in the kitchen area. Decided the best thing to do is to tear it all out insulate the foundation and start over from scratch.

After we got the floor torn out, we added a center ridge beam, and encapsulated the dirt floor with thick plastic then begin the process of trying to frame a very custom floor
